Another in a not-so-regular series of posts highlighting nature's nature & 'ain't that odd'
Oil companies have recently been excused from liability exposure as they drill. They got an insurance policy from the Feds. Is this right or wrong? Well, environmentalist are up in arms and state it gives them an unrestricted license to adversely affect the now threatened Polar Bear.
The facts of history say otherwise. Since the 70's only two Polar Bear deaths have been attributed to oil drilling.
The real issue should be management of the process, not avoidance nor hype from either side. Let's all come to the table, by reasonable, fair yet limit the adverse impact to the bear.
Is it right or wrong? What are the FACTS? How many bears have been killed and how. I for one would like to see the list ranking the FACTS for myself.
